Ama Posey is a teaching artist and founder of Ama Posey Studios, an art school based out of Chico, California. Ama aims to serve families of diverse economic backgrounds, and believes that art has the ability to transform a persons confidence, and extracurricular art activities should not be a burden to bear. Families who receive scholarships come from single parent income families, who might live paycheck to paycheck, and who deserve access to art as much as their peers.

   Through community donations, we are able to provide the youth of our community with enriching, self-reflective & life changing art experiences that lead each student closer to themselves.
